To Buy A Miracle - Set to me by Kathy M.

Faith Of A Little Child

A little girl named Tess went to her bedroom and pulled a glass jelly jar from its hiding place in the closet.

She poured the change out on the floor and counted it carefully. Three times, even the total had to be exactly perfect. No chance here for mistakes.

Carefully placing the coins back in the jar and twisting on the cap, she slipped out the back door and made her way 6 blocks to Rexall's Drug Store with the big red Indian Chief sign above the door.

She waited patiently for the pharmacist to give her some attention, but he was too busy at the moment.

Tess twisted her feet to make a scuffing noise. Nothing. She cleared her throat with the most disgusting sound she could muster. No good!

Finally she took a quarter from her jar and banged it on the glass counter. That did it!

'And what do you want?' the pharmacist asked in an annoyed tone of voice. I'm talking to my brother from Chicago whom I haven't seen in ages, he said without waiting for a reply to his question.

'Well, I want to talk to you about my brother,' Tess answered back in the same annoyed tone. 'He's really, really sick...and I want to buy a miracle.'

'I beg your pardon?'

said the pharmacist.

'His name is Andrew and he has something bad growing inside his head and my Daddy says only a miracle can save him now So how much does a miracle cost?'

'We don't sell miracles here, little girl. I'm sorry but I can't help you,' the pharmacist said, softening a little.

'Listen, I have the money to pay for it. If it isn't enough, I will get the rest. Just tell me how much it costs.'

The pharmacist's brother was a well dressed man He stooped down and asked the little girl, 'What kind of a miracle does your brother need?'

' I don't know,' Tess replied with her eyes welling up. I just know he's really sick and Mommy says he needs an operation. But my Daddy can't pay for it, so I want to use my money.'

'How much do you have?' asked the man from Chicago

'One dollar and eleven cents,' Tess answered barely audibly.

'And it's all the money I have, but I can get some more if I need to.'

'Well, what a coincidence e, ' smiled the man. “A dollar and eleven cents - the exact price of a miracle for little brothers.”

He took her money in one hand and with the other hand he grasped her mitten and said 'Take me to where you live. I want to see your brother and meet your parents. Let's see if I have the miracle you need.'

That well dressed man was Dr. Carlton Armstrong, a surgeon, specializing in neuro-surgery. The operation was completed free of charge and it wasn't long until Andrew was home again and doing well.

Mom and Dad were happily talking about the chain of events that had led them to this place.

'That surgery,' her Mom whispered. 'was a real miracle. I wonder how much it would have cost?'

Tess smiled. She knew exactly how much a miracle cost...one dollar and eleven cents...plus the faith of a little child.

In our lives, we never know how many miracles we will need.

A miracle is not the suspension of natural law, but the operation of a higher law.

MY OATH TO YOU.....

When you are sad.....
I will dry your tears.

When you are scared.....
I will comfort your fears.

When you are worried.....
I will give you hope.

When you are confused......
I will help you cope.

And when you are lost...
And can't see the light,

I shall be your beacon.....
Shining ever so bright.

This is my oath.....
I pledge till the end.

Why you may ask?......
Because you're my friend.

Signed: GOD

A prayer for the loss of Jolene's Grandmother

Dear Jolene,

I'm sorry for your Loss. I pray for you and your family as well as your Grandmother's friends in this hard time. I'm not really good with words on these sorrowfull times... So I written you a poem. This poem was written for you.

Loss & Pain On this Very Day

Life has its way,
Of taking away
The ones we love with out our say.

We’re hoping to hold them one more day
God comes to have their body lay.

us in pain: our hearts at bay
the one we love: just passed away

So I hope and pray
That some day
There is something I could do or say
But I know there is no way
I could cheer you up in some way
And bring light to you: on this sad day

May God be with you in every way;
And bring closer to you God’s love I pray
The only thing I can say today.
we all come from God: as clay

For I feel what God did this day
Opened his arms to say,
“Heaven awaits you now. Life forever is at bay
Just close your eyes and lay
And when you open, eternal life is now yours to stay.”

I hope this helps take some of your pain away

WELCOME TO WISHLAMP 2010!

www.WISHLAMP.com was created by Bryan R. Jenks of JENKS INDUSTRIES in the effort to help others help others. When It was first created it was on it's own web site and had many people's music and art from all over the world. but one day got hacked into and all that information was lost. Bryan's health is not the best & is is very hard for him to build back what he once had by himself. So he rebuilt what he could piggybacked on many other networks. The sad part about that is... those networks never seem to stay. (MSN, Yahoo 360 and so on. so he keeps building them up... and once that network falls he has to start all over.)

Right now Bryan had a mini stroke in August 2009 and has been off work with out pay ever since. It has been very hard for him these past months. So that is why I'm asking for him... for your help. He needs people who are willing to take up a subject. (Cars, child care, what ever) and just write about it. that's all you have to do... at least once a month. It would make a difference. WISHLAMP also can be found on FaceBook, Multipy, MySpace, Windows Live, & WISHLAMP YAHOO GROUP so if you have one of these as well as another type of blog... you can help by posting on your blog what you would and copy it on the WISHLAMP page as well.

Also anyone who needs help, or can help someone. please feel feel to post your wishes as well in the correct subject. If you just want to sell something... you can do that as well.. but please post in the correct subject. or use our BUY N SELL or  CLASSIFIED ADD links. (Please do not post your sales adds in the wrong subject. this is unfair to all as well as yourself... per no one that you want will be looking for it if it's in the wrong location.)

If you have any questions feel free to contact us as thewishlamp@hotmail.com or jenksindustries@hotmail.com

May your wish come true at www.WISHLAMP.com

NEED WASHING! (Sent By Lisa)

A little girl had been shopping with her Mom in Target.. She must have been 6 years old, this beautiful red haired, freckle faced image of innocence. It was pouring outside. The kind of rain that gushes over the top of rain gutters, so much in a hurry to hit the earth it has no time to flow down the spout. We all stood there under the awning and just inside the door of the Target.

We waited, some patiently, others irritated because nature messed up their hurried day. I am always mesmerized by rainfall. I got lost in the sound and sight of the heavens washing away the dirt and dust of the world. Memories of running, splashing so carefree as a child came pouring in as a welcome reprieve from the worries of my day.

The little voice was so sweet as it broke the hypnotic trance we were all caught in 'Mom let's run through the rain,' she said.
'What?' Mom asked.

'Let's run through the rain!' She repeated

'No, honey. We'll wait until it slows down a bit,' Mom replied.

This young child waited about another minute and repeated: 'Mom, let's run through the rain,'

'We'll get soaked if we do,' Mom said.

'No, we won't, Mom.. That's not what you said this morning,' the young girl said as she tugged at her Mom's arm.

This morning? When did I say we could run through the rain and not get wet?

'Don't you remember? When you were talking to Daddy about his cancer, you said, 'If God can get us through this, he can get us through anything!'

The entire crowd stopped dead silent. I swear you couldn't hear anything but the rain. We all stood silently. No one came or left in the next few minutes.
Mom paused and thought for a moment about what she would say. Now some would laugh it off and scold her for being silly. Some might even ignore what was said. But this was a moment of affirmation in a young child's life. A time when innocent trust can be nurtured so that it will bloom into faith.

'Honey, you are absolutely right. Let's run through the rain. If GOD let's us get wet, well maybe we just needed washing,' Mom said.

Then off they ran. We all stood watching, smiling and laughing as they darted past the cars and yes, through the puddles. They held their shopping bags over=2 0their heads just in case. They got soaked. But they were followed by a few who screamed and laughed like children all the way to their cars.

And yes, I did. I ran. I got wet. I needed washing.

Circumstances or people can take away your material possessions, they can take away your money, and they can take away your health. But no one can ever take away your precious memories...So, don't forget to make time and take the opportunities to make memories everyday. To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven.

I HOPE YOU STILL TAKE THE TIME TO RUN THROUGH THE RAIN.

They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but then an entire life to forget them. Send this to the people you'll never forget and remember to also send it to the person who sent it to you. It's a short message to let them know that you'll never forget them.

All Souls Day - A Poem to think about.

REVELATIONS

The angle makes it’s way. And sadness does the angle feel
For today is the day… The angle breaks the seal.

The time has come
The people will be so dumb.

They will not follow Christ’s Church
They will hate those who love Him, and they will curse.

The lord’s people must be strong.
For the day isn’t too long

That Gods people will be shunned
And those who run will be gunned.

They wait for Peter the Roman
The Pope: the Noble Man

With God’s blow
The angle’s go

Earth spinning like a wheel
The angles break another seal

Lead us not into temptation
Per this is the time of revelation

God’s turn to show His power
Saint Michael the Arch Angle – puts Lucifer into a chained collar.

All the souls are lifted from the sea and earth,
All are judged, even those who were not born at birth.

Every seed, to God is a soul
And those who harm them, their soul will take that toll.

Forgiveness and going back to the church is the way

For without Christ in you… There is no life, and the path to Heaven is “No Way”

A prayer for Rev. Handy

Hello,

Another story of injustice in Louisiana towards our Children? I would like to share with you my story of my attempt to bring about change in a community for a group of children. These children was told not to dream, that is correct. I operated a mentoring program for at-risk and troubled youths within in my community. The program was created to keep children off of the streets and from gangs, and other bad influences. The program was canceled by a group call "The Terminators of Hope". The sad thing is no one said anything about the closing of the program nor did anyone care.
Afterward I attempted to run for public office and during the whole ordeal I had my home fire bombed and I was threaten. For more information I ask that you please visit this null and read the horrific story, sign the guestbook and please get back in contact with me. The website  is
http://justiceforchrishandy.homestead.com   This is a story that needs to be told and shared with the world, I need your help.  I look forward to hearing from you soon. Please pass this message on to others.. I thank you and God Bless...
