A special prayer to Marlie Casseus

Marlie Casseus magnify
In this photo provided by Jackson Memorial Hospital-Dr. Jesus Gomez, Marlie Casseus is pictured with her tumor soon after her arrival from Haiti before surgery in Miami, Sept. 16, 2005. Marlie has undergone several surgeries in Miami to remove the tumor-like mass that engulfed her face. (AP Photo/Jackson Memorial Hospital-Dr. Jesus Gomez)

I’m requesting we say a prayer for her. It would be hard going through life like this. I think most people who see this picture just laugh, but they do not think about how the person, the heart, the soul with in feels.

I would like you all to do this. Put yourself in her shoes for one moment and pray. Pray like you are praying for yourself. (May God bless her, and cure her, so her beautiful face underneath can be seen.)

Many more surgeries to go...

Marlie Casseus writes down which foods she would like to eat once she has recovered enough to eat real food instead of her liquid diet while in her room at the Ronald McDonald House, Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, Friday, Sept. 29, 2006. As you can see they were able to take the tumor out, but the girl will still need to undergo many more surgeries before she will be back to normal.

I’m posting this on my prayer page, & I hope many will come and post their prayers there for her.
